June is Pride Month in the state of New York, a celebration of LGBTQ+ self-identity, inclusivity, and equality. To celebrate, local businesses and community members have partnered with the Otsego Pride Alliance to present the first annual Cooperstown Pride Block Party. Highlighting what makes Cooperstown unique, this family-friendly event extends a warm invitation to the entire community and visitors alike, encouraging the promotion of equality and the celebration of diversity.

We've got a stellar lineup that's bound to get you moving, including everyone's favorite social media sensation Benji Spears and a special set with DJ Raphael teaming up with talented students from the CCS Identity Alliance.

The Local Bird is teaming up with the students from Cooperstown Central School’s Identity Alliance to unveil a dazzling window mural during the Cooperstown Pride Block Party weekend.
